Operating Systems
Operating systems. If you are viewing today using your phone, tablet, laptop or PC, your device is utilizing an operating system that enables us to do the things we do with these devices daily. There is currently a social war going on in between iPhone users using the iOS operating system and users of phones with android operating system found in the majority of phones other than iPhone. I will let you know right off hand that I am an android user. I had the experience of riding in my car with a friend one day when the battery on my phone died and I had to borrow my friend’s phone to make an important phone call and it was so difficult just to navigate to the place to make a simple phone call that had the strong urge to throw this man’s phone out of the window and on to the street. Finally, I gave up and just asked him to dial the number for me. But these operating systems are what makes our devices do what they do.

The heart which is synonymous with the mind is the operating system of man. and just like the operating systems on our devices it causes us to think and do the things that we do. It contains the fallen sinful nature we inherited from Adam after the fall and a lifetime of programing from every experience we have encountered since birth and also the sinful experiences of our forefathers who rebelled against The Most High
To avoid the pitfalls and the snares of sin we must be mindful of what we allow into our thinking and avoid thoughts that are contrary to how The Most High has commanded us to live. Jerimiah 17: 9 reads " The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Because of this The Most High Yahowah has given us commandments to follow. Instructions that will reprogram our thinking from the fallen nature. that when followed will cause things to go well with us. This is something that has been repeated to us all throughout the scriptures. Her are just a few examples. Deuteronomy 12: 28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of YAHOWAH thy ELOHIM. Ephesians 6:3 Children, obey your parents in ADONAI: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. and Deuteronomy 6:3 Hear therefore, O Yisra’EL, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as YAHOWAH ELOHIM of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
So now that we know that the heart is the operating system of man and that The Most High gave us commandments to follow that it might go well with us; lets search for the phrase 'that it might go well with you in the scriptures to se what The Most high is warning against and what he has promised us if we obey. well this is my first blog on the Gird Up Nation website. i hope it has been edifying and Yah willing there will be more.
